Becoming a Spiritual Medium

People are fascinated with mediums – what we see, what we can do, what we know.

Mediums see, feel, know and experience things differently than what society teaches us.

We are your link to remembering your truths, healing, and stepping into your power.

Like other mediums, Spiritual Mediums can communicate with spirits but our work is with energy healing. We have a unique ability to clear, heal and work with energy.

Spiritual Mediums are BORN.

You can’t become a Spiritual Medium with training, energy work and certifications. We come into this life with our intuitive abilities and gifts and become aware of them when it’s time – even though we’re using them before we even know what we’re doing.

We also use our abilities in our special way, so no two mediums are the same. We each have our unique purpose and healing abilities for our people.

Becoming the Spiritual Medium is a journey and it helps us step into our unique abilities. Here is my healing journey…

BECOMING AWARE OF MY ABILITIES

For as long as I can remember, people have told me their problems.

Immediately.

They saw me and began to dump. Family, friends, strangers – it didn’t matter. I always knew what to say or do to help them.

In elementary school, I remember spending my walk to and from school and my playground time with friends that were struggling.

I could see their “situation” like I was watching it on tv and I would help them get more objective and create a plan to fix it.

Seeing Spirits and Energy

I didn’t know that I could see spirits or energy until a Paranormal Investigator came to my house when I was 9. She came to put the spirit into White Light and when she came and started talking about the spirit I realized I could see it too.

Immediately a blur of memories shot through my head as I realized I’d been seeing the spirit all along. I had been able to see her. I just didn’t know what it was until someone said this is a spirit. Just like your mind being told this is a table, this is a chair. This is a spirit. Then I could categorize it and do something with it.

It’s the same with energy. This is what White Light is. This is what a curse and negative energy looks like. Until I could label it and categorize it, my mind couldn’t process it but the moment I knew what it was, I could see it all around me and in other people.

The Paranormal Investigator showed me what she did to clear the energy but it was cumbersome and relied on physical artifacts. A seed blessed from a pope. Crystals over doors. While that can work, there are situations where you will be out and not have those things or even worse you’ll lose them and not feel protected.

But if you can believe in the artifacts, you can skip the artifacts and work directly with the energy. I don’t use artifacts and I teach people to do what I do – work directly with the energy.

Energy Basics

Energy responds to energy. Energy shifts quickly and there was a simpler and more powerful way to:

Teaching you how to easily and simply move energy is one of my abilities.

As well as knowing if you actually cleared a space, released a negative energy attached to you, communicated with a spirit or if you have something manipulating your energy. I know because I have the ability to become one with energy and within my body I feel it, sense it, see it and read it. There is no pretending it is gone. I know when it is actually gone.

Energy Healing

I could pick up on what people were feeling, the energy they were giving off and what was wrong. I didn’t understand how to clear energy and reprogram the space until I had my experience with a Mayan Shaman and Reiki Attunements. Then I immediately remembered and knew what to do…

Energy is Stored and Must be Cleared

When I was 20, I did some work with a Mayan Shaman to heal some issues I was holding onto that was directly affecting my relationships.

Immediately once he started to go into my energy, I could see where I was holding energy, beliefs, fears, family stuff, other life experiences and more in my body. I knew what I had to do to release it. I remember looking into the Mayan Shaman’s eyes and knowing that he couldn’t help me. He knew it too.

He was simply there to help me remember. Not only could I do this for myself, but I can physically feel in my body what people are holding onto, why and what they have to do to release it. I feel it in my body until it is clear in theirs.

Refilling with Positive Energy

I was able to turn my abilities off and ignore them until I started my Reiki attunements. With my Reiki 1 Attunement I instantly felt the alignment in my chakra system. It felt like I was connecting and aligning.

I am aware that I am constantly in a beam of light now. I realized the piece missing in the energy clearing was refilling that space with positive energy.

Everything intensified when I went to see some family in California. The moment we arrived at the beach – I was turned on. Permanently. I could see surfers in the water that my boyfriend (now husband) and aunt couldn’t see, I could see the energy around people, the energies they were carrying, what they were thinking, what they were supposed to be doing and weren’t…it was OVERWHELMING.

I reached out to my mom who reached out to the Reiki community to find out what happened to me. They had no idea. Their solution was for me to turn it off!

How could I turn it off? I didn’t turn it on! All I did was go to the beach and in that moment, my life changed forever.

I was aligned and connected in a way I hadn’t been before. I fully stepped into what I am here to do. It led me down a different career path and I had the piece that was missing, refilling with positive energy.

My journey began in my childhood and my awareness of being a Spiritual Medium started when I was 20. My career began later in 2002.

How to EXPAND Your TIME

I don’t have TIME.

What you’re really saying:

  • I don’t have boundaries.
  • I don’t prioritize.
  • I can’t say no.
  • What I want to do isn’t important.
  • I don’t make time for me.
  • I’m busy proving that I am worthy, enough and love.

So the next time you want to say, “I don’t have time.” I want you to look at this list and pay attention to what you’re really saying.

Because you DO have time.

86,400 seconds EVERY day. The question is are you spending them in ways that bring you JOY?

Time is a commodity and you want to consciously spend it.

Here are 4 simple practices that will help you EXPAND time so you can start enjoying this amazing life you’ve been creating.

1. Implement More Self-Care

When you’re on an airplane they tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself first, then you can help others. This is so true for all areas in your life!

If you are tired, overwhelmed and exhausted you do not have the energy for everything else you want to do in work and in life. And time flies by! Did you ever notice that?

Make time for self-care so you can be more present and in the moment.

Self-care can include exercising, getting enough sleep at night, having a date night, reading a book for pleasure – not learning, eating foods that support your body, a massage, facial, meditation, an energy work practice and so much more.

What self-care would best support you right now? Make sure you get it scheduled on your weekends and into packed work days to help you expand your time.

2. Create Routines

Routines tell you what to do at certain times of the day. They help you expand time because you don’t waste time thinking about what you need to do and when. You just do them and get them done.

Create routines that will best support you with your goals:

  • Want to stay more balanced? Create a morning routine to help you start your day in balance. Added bonus – you’ll feel better and you won’t feel so rushed.
  • Trying to fall asleep at night? It is such a waste of time! If you want to fall asleep easily and without medication create an evening routine to help you drift into dreamland quickly. There’s a reason you had a bedtime routine as a child! Sleep is key to making sure that you are present and energized throughout the day. If you’re tired, you waste that time not being as focused or productive.
  • The same is true for eating healthy, exercising, doing hobbies you love. Create a routine that will give you more time in the areas you are working on.

What routines would help support you and give you more time?

3. Balance Your Schedule

I know you love your work and that you are driven BUT your goal wasn’t to work all the time. Your goal was to have a freedom lifestyle – one where you actually get to enjoy all these things you’ve worked so hard for!

Your vision wasn’t to live for your weekends and vacations. When you do that, you’re too tired to enjoy them and they go by way too fast! Plus you usually end up plugging into work anyhow.

Instead create a work schedule and STICK to it!

Look at your calendar at the beginning of the month and each week and look at how it is balanced or not. Each morning look at your schedule and hold firm to your start and stop times for work. Don’t overbook, instead leave intentional spaces for those last minute priorities.

By creating a balanced schedule, you won’t feel rushed and you’ll be able to get in all the things you want to do. You’ll expand your time for things you want and love to do!

4. Say “NO” More Often

When you say no to something, you are saying yes to something for you.

How? Because you spend a lot of your day saying yes to things that take away time for you to do the things you wanted to do for yourself. It’s the only thing you can take away from to squeeze this “thing” in.

By saying NO, you say yes to that walk, a book, a reasonable bedtime. See where I’m going with this?

What can you say no to and reclaim more time in your day?

Not having time is a choice.

You have so much power over how you spend your time. What will you start doing differently? How will you start to reclaim your most precious commodity – time?

Why You Should Say NO More Often

I bet you say “yes” to things because you think you should.

Perhaps to even make someone else happy (which you don’t have the power to do – so stop doing that!)

You say “yes” for the other person while you inwardly cringe and cross off your list something you really did want to do but now you can’t.

What would change if you said NO instead?

  • Would you have more time?
  • Do more things you actually want to do?
  • Feel better about your schedule?
  • Get some much needed self-care in?

Think about it this way – when you say “no” to something, you are saying “yes” to something for you.

After all, there is only so much time in a day.

I Don’t Have Enough TIME

This is the biggest complaint I hear: “I don’t have enough time.”

Time is a commodity. It is more precious than money because you can’t get more of it.

You spend a lot of your day saying “yes” to things that take you away from the things you actually wanted to do.

When you say “yes” to your already busy schedule, you either have to take out something you really wanted to do or you lose time for yourself at the end of the day.

Right?

But by saying ‘no”, you say yes to that walk, a book, a reasonable bedtime, time to “be” or whatever it is that you want to do for yourself.

See where I’m going with this?

Start Saying “NO”

When someone invites you to do something you DON’T want to do, the best thing you can do is say “no.”

Notice there is no excuse here. You’re not ignoring them or leaving them in limbo. Just say, “No.” Or “No thank you.”

Period.

Here’s the thing, no one wants you at something you don’t want to be at. You mess with the vibe of the event. And when you don’t want to be there, everyone knows you don’t want to be there. So save all this trouble and start saying “no.”

It feels awkward at first but I promise it gets easier once you realize what you can do instead during that time!

Most of the time, they don’t care that you said no. (Now if they pressure you once you say you don’t want to go, then you should really look at why they’re trying to pressure you and decide to go from there. Maybe even read this article on boundaries.)

The bonus in saying “no” is that you have more time and energy to actually do things you want to do. Maybe you get to sleep at a decent hour. Or you get to read a book you’ve been wanting to start.

Pause Before You Say “Yes”

Before you say “yes”, ask yourself do I:

  • Want to do this?
  • Have time to do this?
  • Have the energy to do this?
  • Have to give up something else I want to do in order to do this?

Don’t respond until you’ve decided if you really want to do it or not – but don’t forget to respond. (Not responding puts a strain on your energy.)

Remember, you get to decide how to spend your time.

Spend your time wisely. Say “no” more often so you can say “yes” to the things you really want to do.

Fear or Abundance – What is Running Your Business

I

It’s very easy to step into fear right now but there is NO POWER in a place of fear. Nor can you successfully run your business from a place of fear or make a positive impact on the world.

What you focus on, you attract to you, regardless of what it is. If you’re afraid, you will attract more of what you’re afraid of and that includes what you are attracting into your business.

Let’s start with the definitions:

  • Fear: an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
  • Intuition: the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

Entrepreneurs navigate fears and intuition from business conception to where your business is today and unfortunately, that energy lingers without even realizing it.

You have taken risks and done things that have forced you to overcome some of your fears, but I always find that there are fears subconsciously guiding your decisions, often holding you back. Add in what is happening right now with this pandemic virus, and I guarantee you have fears to clear.

Running your business from your fears makes being an entrepreneur harder than it has to be and energetically it affects your abundance. It’s time to step away from the fears and focus on following your intuition. After all, being a successful entrepreneur is all about personal development.

1. Get Objective

The first thing you need to do is get objective.

Fears will sound more negative and are a lower energy vibration filled with can’t, shouldn’t, don’t and even “that won’t work!”

Intuition will be clear. It is a higher energy vibration focused on moving forward filled with guidance, next steps, and knowing your best path.

  • What is guiding you to make the decisions you are making in your business?
  • Is this supporting or hurting your business? (really get CLEAR here)
  • What should I be doing differently to create more impact and income?

This will allow you to step into your power and make a decision that is best for your business and not just keep on doing what you’ve always done.

Doing what you’ve always done will not take you to the next level in your business – especially if you are driven by fear. Instead keep shifting your mindset and letting go of your fears.

2. Let Go

Your intuition will guide you onto YOUR best path and your fear will keep you stuck every time.

Let go of your fears around finances, any rough patches in your entrepreneurial journey and the uncertainty of how current life events COULD affect your business.

3. Listen to Your Intuition

Fear will always hold you back, it’s not what helped you start your business. Your intuition did and it is always guiding you on your best path FORWARD!

How is your intuition guiding you?

Do you have a feeling, hear it, see it? Listen! This is your special navigation to help you do your work in a bigger way and to help you connect with the people you have to connect with.

You can also know what your intuition looks like for you by noticing when you ignore it, that you were being guided. It seems backwards, but if you ignore that gut feeling or insight, you will find yourself saying, “I knew that was going to happen.” Going forward, instead of ignoring that feeling, knowing, etc – next time pay attention and see how things shift forward for you.

Your intuition will guide you in the best direction for success in all areas of your life. Stop ignoring it and listen!

4. Do Your Abundance Energy Work

Whatever you focus on, you will bring more of to you whether that is lack or abundance. I promise you, abundance is easier, especially with all the fears and negativity out there RIGHT now!

Abundance practices are more than manifesting and gratitude journals. It requires energy work. Check out my energy work tips to bring in more abundance here.

It always starts with being objective. From there, look at what is guiding you. Do energy work throughout each day to help you get clear and make your decisions from a better place energetically.

Why the Hustle is a SHORT Term Solution

If the hustle is only sustainable short term energetically, emotionally and physically, why do we do it for years? Decades even?

Because it’s encouraged in our society. You are told from a very early age:

  • You want to be successful, you need to hustle.
  • You want to make a big impact or income, you have to hustle.
  • If you want to do anything in this life, you better hustle.

Understanding the Hustle

Let’s start with the definition of HUSTLE:

Verb: obtain by forceful action or persuasion.

Noun: busy movement and activity.

Physically, emotionally and energetically neither definition is SUSTAINABLE.

Yet the hustle is glorified and ingrained in our society for centuries, especially if you’re career driven:

  • “Without hustle, talent will only carry you so far.” – Gary Vaynerchuk
  • “I’d rather hustle 24/7 than slave 9 to 5.” – Unknown
  • “Work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it away from you” – Mark Cuban
  • “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.” – Abraham Lincoln

This has created a REAL problem that no one thinks they can change. After all, success is defined by who is hustling the most.

The hustle has become a work lifestyle and it is such a myth because the hustle is not sustainable by anyone. Anyone…

When is the Hustle No Longer Supporting Me?

The hustle can work, but only SHORT TERM. You will know when the hustle is starting to hurt you.

  • Your relationships are struggling or non-existent
  • You are sick often or keep injuring yourself
  • Putting on weight and unhappy with your body image
  • You’re exhausted and sleep is difficult
  • Life and time is literally flying by you
  • You’re not fulfilled, enjoying life, or able to relax at the end of the day.

You get to decide what success means to you. Hustling does not guarantee success. You can hustle without success. You can have success without hustling.

What is your definition of success?

  • Is it by how much you hustle and how exhausted you are? (If so, you may want to stop reading here!)
  • Is it by how much you enjoy this amazing life you’ve created?
  • Do you define success by achieving milestones you’ve set?
  • Are you living YOUR definition of success?

Most successful entrepreneurs are not. They find that they got stuck in the pattern to hustle and keep scaling and they just keep doing what they know. But there is another way!

You Can Have Success without the Hustle

Oprah is the DEFINITION of the American dream and I challenge you to find a quote where she says the hustle is the answer to success. Seriously, I would love to see it.

You can scale, enjoy your life and stop living by the hustle! The hustle is proven to be your path to exhaustion, overwhelm and burn out.

You have the power to reclaim your life and live a life you love.

As a successful entrepreneur that has been in business since 2002, I absolutely get it. I know how this started for you. When you first start your business there is so much to do AND you have to do it all, unless you have investors and you can hire a team, but even then it’s very easy to step into these beliefs (myths):

  • I have to do everything!
  • My work is my priority.

Eventually: the goals aren’t enough, your relationships take the toll, your health isn’t great and OVERWHELM, EXHAUSTION and BURNOUT become your way of living. It doesn’t sound very “successful” or like the life you envisioned you would create, does it??

Shifting from Hustle to Balance

There isn’t one area for you to focus on to create a shift from a hustling lifestyle back into what you originally wanted, a freedom lifestyle.

What I have found to stop the hustle and truly get back to being successful in ALL areas of your life, there are 4 areas for you to focus on, 4 patterns for YOU to shift.

  • Time – you just don’t have enough of it
  • Relationships – aren’t fulfilling or are non-existent
  • Inner game & Abundance – it doesn’t matter how successful you are or how many goals you hit, you HAVE to do more
  • Energy – you don’t have any to do anything outside of work

Everyone wants a quick fix, but your thoughts, beliefs, fears, family patterns and past life experiences have gotten you to where you are today. AND it took time to get here.

Instead of thinking, breathing and living work, start thinking about what will bring me joy:

  • What can I do today?
  • How can I have fun this month?
  • What days can I block out for self-care?
  • Who do I want to schedule in to spend time with?

The hustle is no longer working. You know. You’ve been doing it and it’s not right anymore.

I live, breathe and teach another way to reach your goals without the constant hustle and it works for me, my family and my clients.

4 Must Have Boundaries

Boundaries are essential. They protect you without energetically building walls and forts.

I hear so often that people are afraid to set boundaries, they don’t want to impose on others or they don’t even know that they can set boundaries…and they feel powerless.

Here’s the thing – if you don’t set boundaries people do not know what is okay or how you would like to be treated. Most people are not mind readers.

Boundaries are a form of self-respect, worth and value. If you keep finding yourself struggling and getting triggered by the same things, I guarantee you that you don’t have boundaries in place.

Think of boundaries as guidelines for people to know what you expect in your relationships with them.

These are the 4 Must Have Boundaries to put into place right now:

#1 For Your Time

Time is your most precious resource and the number one thing I hear people need more of. We all have the same amount of hours in the day, what differs is how we spend those hours and if we spend them HOW we want to spend them.

Set a boundary: Create a schedule for your work and personal time and adhere to it. When people come to you outside of your work hours for work, let them know when you will be able to help them.

The same is true with your personal time. Schedule in time with the people you want to see and make sure you block out time for YOU to recharge.

Also set boundaries around your social media time as well – you know that can be a huge time drain!

#2 For Your Relationships

Relationship problems or drama can so easily steer you out of balance.

By creating boundaries in your relationships it lets people know what behavior is okay and what is not. A lot of times, people do not know what the boundaries are because you have not set any. What is a problem for you may be okay with someone else.

Many relationship problems stem from people being upset at how they are being treated, but they continually let it happen – change this by setting a boundary!

Set a boundary: If you don’t know how to set boundaries with the people in your life, start by paying attention to what TRIGGERS you in your relationships. That is where you need to tell people not to do that behavior.

You can ask people not to do something, not hang out with them or give the relationship space. Make sure you hold firm to the boundaries, otherwise there is no point in setting them. You can still be around them and take the tips from #3 – don’t take on their energy.

#3 For Your Energy

Do you have people or situations that drain you? You feel completely exhausted after them – that’s because they are draining your energy and you are letting it happen.

Set a boundary: Instead, know that they can do whatever they want energetically, but you imagine their energy bouncing right off of you and back to them. You do not do this in a mean or malicious way, rather an indifferent way. You simply do not let their energy imprint on you or have an effect on you.

It is like you are a mirror and it bounces off of you and right back onto them in the same way they gave it to you, allowing you to keep your energy balanced.

#4 For Your Abundance

Abundance is a powerful energy providing you with miracles, synchronicity and support. Do not let people trample on your abundance or take advantage of you.

Abundance is more than money. It is love, opportunities, support, relationships, and basically anything that is appearing in your life at this moment.

Set a boundary: Most people need to create boundaries around not allowing people into your life that just want to drain your abundance.

Sometimes that includes your past beliefs, patterns and expectations that are no longer serving you so notice where you are preventing your own abundance.

Do not give out your abundance to things you do not believe in or because you feel you have to, do it when you want to or feel inspired instead.

It is time for you to take back your power in these areas.

Boundary setting absolutely goes both ways, so make sure you respect the boundaries that others set with you. If someone is setting a boundary, they have a reason for it. Something has happened that has made this boundary important, whether it was something someone else has done or something you have done.

Respect other’s boundaries just as you would like them to respect yours.

  • Creating a work day schedule and sticking to it (no working outside those hours!)
  • Having a morning routine that starts your day in balance
  • Pause midday to eat lunch (not a working lunch with meetings and emails) but time to reflect on your day and course correct
  • Schedule in the people you want to spend time with
  • Schedule in a walk or exercise each day
  • Create a bedtime routine (you had one when you were younger and it worked!)

The problem is that when you try to cram too much into a day it literally feels like it flies by. By beginning and ending your day with routines that help you calm, center and balance your energy and implementing in some of the tips above, you won’t feel like time is rushing by you.

# 2 – Reclaim Your Relationships

The number one complaint I hear about is not having enough time, but when your relationships aren’t working or falling apart…this is when people come to me for support and guidance.

Relationships are important. They are your community and support. And if we’re being really honest, you do not want to be alone.

The problem so many successful entrepreneurs have is that so much energy goes into work, there is not enough time and energy left for anything else.

Make sure you are making time to:

  • Do things for you – things that nourish you and that you enjoy
  • Spend making memories with people you actually want to be around

# 3 – Reclaim Your Abundance & Inner Game

This is more than money – this is what drives you. This is where your Success Wound is constantly telling you that you need more, more, more!

Your abundance is typically driven by fears of not having enough, being enough, or doing enough. Here’s the thing, fears and abundance do not go together. Fears are coming from a place of lack and abundance comes from a place of plenty.

You have to get control of whatever is telling you that what you are doing is not enough, otherwise you will find yourself unfulfilled and burned out. You didn’t come this far to stop now. Reclaim your abundance mindset!

# 4 – Reclaim Your Energy

Yes, you are tired. Overwhelmed. Exhausted. At your breaking point. I know, I hear it ALL the time! This is how you know it is time to do something different. You cannot continue at this pace.

Listen to your body, it guides you and tells you when to rest, play, eat and work.

Stop trying to cram too much into your day. Create an energy work practice that supports you and helps you balance and center as needed throughout the day.

Step 3 – What is it ENERGETICALLY that keeps you operating from your Success Wound™?

Your Success Wound™ starts in your CHILDHOOD.

Energetically you either:

  • Came in with this belief.
  • Your family taught you this belief.

Which is it for you?

What happened in YOUR life at an early age to create this drive?

What is the FIRST thing that pops into your mind? Is it that you had to PROVE yourself? Do you feel worthy? Do you feel like you are enough? Do you do enough?

How can you take care of yourself – not just external things but internal too. You have to become aware of the energy that is driving you. This is your why. But the question is – is this still valid?

Your Success Wound™ is showing up energetically in your life right now, in this moment.

Knowing what caused your Success Wound™, how is it also affecting your:

  • Business
  • Relationships
  • Energy (worthy, enough, exhausted, overwhelmed)

It is important to get to the root of what is driving you to do more, create more, be more. More, more, more.

It is different for each person, but it usually stems around proving yourself. “I’ll show you.” Right? But since this is no longer working and supporting you, your business or those around you – it is time to LET IT GO.

Step 4 – How to HEAL your Success Wound

Your Success Wound™ had a purpose. It has gotten you to where you are today. This has been your drive but nothing you do is ENOUGH.

Your Success Wound™ is hurting you because nothing you do is enough and now you are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and unfulfilled.

It is time to feel fulfilled, supported, happy and at peace with your accomplishments. You keep hitting goals and you’ve been so focused on what is next that you don’t realize where you are now. You do not appreciate your success, you focus on what you still have to do.

Appreciate where you are and where you came from. You have more money. You have more success. You have more impact.

Stop focusing on external things and focus on what is internally driving you. Give yourself permission to heal your Success Wound™. It is time:

  1. Create a safe space with White Light.
  2. Let it go.
  3. Refill your thoughts and body with positive “I am” statements.
  • I am worthy.
  • I am enough.
  • I am love.

4. Create healthy boundaries.

3 Easy Practices to Release Stress Every Day

How much energy you have affects every single thing you do in your day.

As a successful entrepreneur, you wear many hats and it is important you have the energy to run your empire.

By taking time each day to get back in balance and de-stress you will have more energy and a renewed purpose. You are not meant to go-go-go all the time as this leads to burn out and overwhelm.

Of course energy comes from eating foods that are good for your body, getting enough sleep, balancing your schedule and making time for YOU. You can see tips for these areas here.

Having an EASY energy practice to support you daily is very important – this is where the magic truly happens so you can recenter, refocus and re-balance.

1. White Light

A daily energy work practice is VITAL to helping you stay in balance energetically and it all begins with White Light.

White Light is God, Love, the Universe, Source, or whatever you would like to call it. It is non-denominational, it just simply is.

White Light is everywhere. You will see the beams of White Light breaking through clouds and trees most often in nature.

Energetically you are the White Light and it flows through you at all times.

Imagine visually, that you are surrounded by it in a huge spotlight or beam of light and it flows gently like a stream through your being. By bringing it through your body you are energetically balancing your being.

Here is a video to help you bring in the White Light and one if you have a hard time bringing it in. Use the White Light to help you balance and center, no matter what is happening around you.

2. Letting Go

Equally as important as bringing in the White Light is letting go.

You can visualize White Light and feel the peace it provides you, but if you are already full of negativity, irritation, frustration, stress, anger, etc., you just keep battling the negativity with the White Light within you. End this energetic battle by cleaning out all this junk that is holding onto the negativity.

You will know when you have letting go to do, just pay attention to how you feel emotionally, what you are thinking, and how your body feels.

All that stress, overwhelm, hustle, etc builds in your body and if you don’t clear it out, you will explode at something trivial. Sound familiar?

Notice that you feel so much better after you let go, and you will be in a better place for whatever is happening in your life or work at that moment.

There are many different ways to let go whether it is through exercise, creating art, journaling, visualizing, etc.; the list goes on! Here is a letting go video where you visualize the tension, stress, frustration, anger, sadness, etc., leaving your body.

3. Refilling with Positive Energy

“I am” Statements

“I am” statements are very nurturing and supportive to your body at any time but they are important after you have done letting go. These statements support your body and help reprogram that area. An area that was holding onto negativity gets cleared in the letting go session and is now reprogramming into the “I am” statement you are putting there.

I am peace. I am free. I am whole. I am supported. I am love.

Use whatever “I am” statement will best support you in each moment. Notice it is a 3 word sentence and if you find your body rejecting one of the statements above you have letting go to do.

Pastel Colors

Pastel colors like you see in a rainbow are nurturing and supportive energetically. They help you focus on a specific energy vibration in a specific area of your body.

The White Light is all the colors, this is using a specific color you are drawn to use.

Often no words have to be used with them. You just see the colors that are coming to you, let them do their work, and you feel great. Sometimes, you will find that it is helpful for you to have something for your mind to focus on like an “I am” statement or mantra like “all is well,” with the colors.

“I am” statements or mantras can be very supportive with colors when you have done a lot of energy work.

Create Fulfilling Relationships NOW

An area of concern for most successful entrepreneurs I work with is their RELATIONSHIPS or lack of good relationships.

Relationships are a top priority they are struggling with when they start working with me. Not having balance in your relationships throws off your personal life and ends up directly affecting your work life.

The relationships:

  • Are not fulfilling or supportive
  • You are exhausted and do not have the energy for them
  • You don’t have the time for them
  • You don’t have time for self-care like lunch or a full night’s sleep much less time for date night

Which of these relate to you right now?

Energy is simple. What you put out energetically, you receive back to you. Here are 3 easy practices to help you stop searching and start finding fulfillment in your relationships.

1. Reclaim Your Relationship with YOURSELF

The relationship you have with yourself is the most important relationship.

How you treat yourself is how others will treat you. What you believe about yourself, they will believe. They follow your lead, you set the stage:

  • If you think you deserve a certain type of relationship or people around you that is the tribe you will attract.
  • If you believe you aren’t lovable, the people in your relationships will believe that too.
  • If you feel alone, guess what? No one can take that away from you but YOU. You’ll find yourself surrounded by people that are there but aren’t your people and you will feel alone.
  • If you feel distance in your relationships, look within first. What within you is it time to shift or is there something you should be doing?
  • Re-evaluate struggling relationships – are they still a priority, time to put on the back burner or is it time to let them go?

Self-love and self-worth come from within. They determine how much power you feel you have. Power is an energy exchange and ideally, it is EQUAL in all your relationships.

When you find fulfillment in yourself, you are able to create relationships at work and home that are fulfilling, balanced and have boundaries.

No one else can love you enough, value you enough or cherish you enough. It starts with YOU.

How to Reclaim Your Relationship with YOURSELF

Claim your truth:

Begin by knowing in your whole being, “I am love. I am light. I am safe. I am whole.”

I am enough. You do not have to prove yourself in any relationship by your work success.

Let go of any resistance to these statements in your body because these are your energetic truths.

Feel these “I am” statements through your body from the top of your head, through your body, down to your feet and into the Earth.

2. Make Time for Your Relationships

If something is important to you, make time for it.

No one ever says on their deathbed, “I’m so glad I worked all the time.” You do not get time back with people in this life – there is no rewinding the clock to fix relationships that are neglected. You have to be present right now.

Your social life is important for your well being.

While it is great that work is such a passion and brings you joy, you will find that all work and no play does not make you happy for long. You will feel that something is missing.

Schedule time with your partner, family and friends INTO your calendar.

Yes! Block out time for them. This not only gives you time to refresh your energy and mind, but it gives you important time to spend connecting with them.

Say yes to things you would like to do and no to things you do not. Time is valuable. It is important that you make time to do things outside of work that are important, fun or relaxing.

Be Present – Unplug from Technology

Time with those that are important to you should be unplugged. Make sure you don’t have your phone glued to you.

As a successful entrepreneur, you know the importance of replying quickly and staying on top of everything – but a life outside of work is equally important. Your emails, texts and social media will be there waiting for you to do during your SET business hours…not right now.

You can walk into any restaurant and see most people are disconnected from the people they are sitting with. Electronic devices are powerful to connect you with work but not with the people physically present with you.

Nothing is worse than sitting with someone and trying to talk to them while they are more engaged with their device. Or even worse – the other person gets on their device too. Then you have groups of people physically together but not really connecting.

When someone is on their device – they don’t hear you, you don’t feel more important than whatever they are doing on their device and you will eventually choose to not spend your free time with them.

Make time to be present in your relationships. You need a break from work and being present actually makes it feel like time is going by slower not faster.

3. Create Boundaries

Boundaries are so important and are often missing for successful entrepreneurs. They are an important framework for time and actions.

One important boundary to create is around your work and your personal time. Do not work in your designated personal time. Likewise, during your work hours do not work on your personal life. Create clear times to help you be present in both areas.

Create boundaries to let people at work and at home know what is okay and what is not.

Make sure you are firm on the boundaries or people will ignore them.

Respect the boundaries that others set with you as well. Remember to treat others as you would like to be treated and COMMUNICATE your needs and feelings.

As a society, we think that people should know what we want without telling them. The problem is they are not a mind reader. You have to communicate and one way we do that is with boundaries.

How to Create Boundaries:

  • Let someone know when something is okay or when it is not. I feel ______ when you do ________. Please do not do this anymore.
  • Energetically STOP taking on everyone’s energy. Just because someone is in your presence does not mean you have to let their energy pour into you, especially when they are negative or not in a good place. You have enough on your plate already. Do not allow their energy into your being, you can say in your mind, “No thank you.” Imagine energetically pushing their energy gently back to them where it belongs.
  • If someone is challenging your boundary (which will happen in old relationships) remind them of the boundary and be firm. If they continue to ignore the boundary sometimes space is needed or it is time for the relationship to end.
  • Follow the boundaries you create. There is no point in creating a boundary you will not enforce and make sure you respect other people’s boundaries as well. What goes around, comes around energetically.

3 Easy Practices to Reclaim Your Abundance Mindset

There are two things I hear from every successful entrepreneur I talk and work with:

  1. You absolutely LOVE your work – it is your passion, sometimes your everything.
  2. No matter how much money is FLOWING into your bank accounts – it isn’t enough.

You admit that you continue to make more and more money yet it just isn’t enough.

The question becomes why are YOU driven to acquire more money?

Is it from a place of fear – not having enough?

Or is it from a place of abundance – allowing more to flow in easily and effortlessly?

For most successful entrepreneurs, FEAR is in charge.

Your drive for success comes from a time when you did not have control or financial resources to help you. It could be from this life experience or another. Regardless of how, you have a strong drive to be completely independent.

You WORRY about:

  • Being okay financially
  • Having enough
  • FAILURE – Losing everything
  • Money – it just keeps you awake at night or wakes you up
  • Retirement

These are all FEARS.

Fears keep you in scarcity. They energetically have power over you.

You know fears are in control when you have money flowing in but it is NEVER enough.

No matter how much money is flowing into your bank account, you NEED more.

The problem is that from a place of fear and need, you create more fear and need – not abundance. You keep putting the gas on abundance then slamming on the break – here’s a video on this.

This place of need becomes a prison that you feel you cannot escape and it becomes your reality.

Let those fears go and regain control of your inner game!

What you create in your mind, you create around you. Balance begins by creating thoughts that are going to help you get where you would like to go.

Every thought you think and every word you use is creating your reality in this moment.

This moment shapes the next and things are put into motion and become reality without you even realizing it.

Pay attention to family patterns, thoughts and beliefs that are shaping your experiences and notice if they are still supporting you or if it is time for new ones.

How are fears and doubts limiting or preventing you by making you focus on what you don’t have instead of on what you DO HAVE?

1. Be Grateful

Being grateful is the most powerful thing you can do to overcome your fears and doubts. It immediately puts you into the present moment and attracts more of these things into your life.

First pause.

Imagine stopping or freezing the thought – I don’t have enough.

Let that thought go and immediately be grateful for something you are truly grateful for in this moment (not what you think you SHOULD be grateful for) and you’ve reclaimed your power in that moment.

2. Use “I am” Statements

“I am” is the most powerful thing you can say. Whatever comes after is what you create.

Think about it:

  • “I am struggling to pay my bills.” This makes you anxious, feel like you don’t have enough and it makes you see your bank account draining – not growing because it CAN pay all your bills easily and effortlessly.
  • “I am poor.” You’ll notice no matter what your bank account says, it is not enough. You don’t think you can spend your money on you without negating how you are spending it.

Try these instead:

  • “I am abundant.”
  • “I am whole.”
  • “I am free.”
  • “I am supported.”

3. Everyday Do an Abundance Energy Work Meditation

This meditation will help you allow abundance to flow into you and into everything around you (the best energy work practice because we are all one and connected.)

Consciously let abundance flow into you and let go of anything that is blocking it.

Bring the White Light through the crown of your head, into your feet, and into the Earth. It is a steady stream and you feel safe, comfortable, and at peace.

Let go of any fears, limitations, or things that are blocking you at this moment. Release them to the Universe, push them out of your body, and then bring the White Light through your body again.

Imagine soft pink or soft green flowing into the front of your chest, into your arms and into everything around you.

Allow the energy to flow into your chest until it feels complete.

If you find yourself stopping the energy or feeling like it is too much, you have more letting go to do. Let go of whatever is limiting you and then imagine the soft pink or soft green flowing into your chest again.

Open your eyes when you are ready.

My clients, other successful female entrepreneurs, notice a huge difference when they do this exercise versus when they don’t because what you put out energetically comes back to you!

Practice this meditation in the morning before you get out of bed or at night before you go to sleep.

These 3 practices will help you shift your beliefs on money from fear to abundance.

From a place of abundance, you attract in more abundance.

Let’s energetically go with the flow of abundance and not upstream with fears about not having enough.
